Hi Patricia, Another great capture. I love snow and mountains and this is a wonderful landscape. I love the lighting, the cumulus have cast some wonderful shadows over the peaks. Very sharp image. Lovely scene. Well done and TFS.

Hi Stuart, Great shot, good compo with the sloping rock and the fell edge in the foreground. lots of interest with the frozen grass, and I love the ambience with the misty background. I was up Nidderdale, on the Thursday, with very similar weather. Very flat light. Difficult to get any landscape to look interesting. You've managed it though. Well done, and TFS. John. PS Hope the dog is getting plently of exercise!

Hi Sarolta, Again, a wonderful capture. No doubt, right place, right time. Wonderfully vibrant colours, and the POV reinforces the powerful figure. It makes me think of the Joe Buck character in John Schlesinger's oscar winning film, 'midnight cowboy'. Well done again, and TFS, John

Hi Geof, Great shot, lots of DOF and really strong colours. Been there many times, and planning to do the whole PW summer 2007! There was a folk band doing the pub circuit a few years ago who took the name 'Blackstone Edge'. Wonder if they are still going. Good work, keep posting, John
