Hello Ian So you've "trawled" through your archive as well and also come up with an image from Viet Nam. Great minds, etc. These fishing boats look pretty large: certainly sea-going vessels, I reckon. I wonder how often they go to sea these days. I like the eye on each bow. The ancient Greeks did the same, I believe. Don't mind the rain: it gives the shot a certain authenticity. Regards Will

Hello Benny Like Gert I like the interesting sky and the tight crop: I'm guessing that the foreground street contained a lot of distracting - and probably modern - detail, such as street furniture, etc. that you didn't want to include. Lovely spires. Regards Will

Hello Kasia Your chosen genre is "people", so I guess you've answered your own question! But either way this is a splendid photograph: for me, a landscape enlivened by the presence of the three brightly-clad figures, who, along with their reflections, absolutely nail the shot. Masterful. Best wishes Will

Hello Abmdsudi Hats off for a wonderful grab-shot! The pre-focussing has worked a treat and your ability to shoot à la sauvette is undoubted. But it's the expressions and sense of joy and excitement which is so endearing. Lovely work. Regards Will

Hello Ian I count myself as one of the lovers of broken buildings! This is an excellent example of the genre, and for me is a nostalgic reminder of the year we spent in Australia. We were based in Newcastle, but travelled a fair bit around the 'interior' of NSW, once as far as Tibooburra. Don't remember Taralga though... Regards Will

Hello Gert Beautiful, heartwarming group portrait. The children have lovely smiles, and the mother, if such she be, is certainly eloquent in her modesty. And your scan appears to be top quality: sharp and true colours. Nice one. Kind regards Will

Hello John Amazing performance, informative note, not to mention a very satisfying and neat composition. I've never seen this spectacle live: may have to go to an airshow. Hope you and yours remain safe and well, and I hope to see you again in the fullness of time. Kind regards, Will

Hello Benny Beautiful monochrome treatment, with plenty of contrast, and impressive composition. Love those perspective lines! Special. Regards Will
