Just think of this 'view' during July...that should fix any foolish notion about living near St. George... ;-) Another typical Dana Rees photo...he makes a wonderful image that 99% of us would have totally botched because of the technical dificulty. Very nice job. When are you in town again? Or were you just playing for UEA? -Robert

Oh this is very nice... I may have cropped out the bottom a little and rotated slightly counter-clockwise...but it's very good. I love the feeling and the tone of the image. I wonder what shutter speed you used? If you had a longer shutter speed the reflection in the water might have been a little clearer. Either way...very nice job.

Yet another of my favorite bike trails...dang Ryan you are going to get me off of my butt... Very nice image, you captured the light just right on the meadow. That canyon is *magical* in the morning...wonderful place. It's also a great place for wild grouse hunting... -Robert

Ryan, It's Provo Peak. I think that you have passed Dry Fork and the Rock Canyon Picnic Area in this picture...and are closer to the back hills of the 'Y' mountain. Did you keep going on the Squaw Peak Trail all the way to Hobble Creek? This used to be one of my favorite trails...back when I rode a bike. I must get up there again soon. Very nice picture...and as usual, very well done! -Robert

Great shot...it would be nice if you included some thougths about making the image, interesting facts about the image, equipment you used and why, etc. Your image is not very saturated...I'm assuming that it was a digital camera. You might want to check your white balance settings (or shoot raw and adjust on the computer). Your image also needs to be sharpened. I'll post a workshop for you. It would also be nice if you took advantage of the diskspace & bandwitdh of TrekEarth and used the full 800 pixels...especially for good pictures like this. Nice job.
