Nice mate. Moody colours and a painterly feel. Perhaps you need to sharpen it up a little. Also, maybe think about editing it for some more colour definition - if possible, try to replicate the quality you get from good slide film. Oh, and sayzey has a point when he/she suggests cropping the lower portion of the shot. Maybe make it a panorama? Cheers mate, jp P.S. The best way to see brissy is on a bicycle, if you ask me :-)

Love it. I just went down to the river the other morning to get some early morning shots myself, but none of them turned out half as nice as this. You've really captured the colours.

way to capture the chaos- the true essense of taiwan! Too bad this is a scanned print, or it would have come out more clear, with no blown out white areas. but it really shows how Taiwan is lacking of space.

Excellent photo, Keith. I think what makes the scene for me are the tools and accoutrements lying at the subject's feet. Nice rich colors, too. Well seen.

Welcome to TE. Very nice first post with soft and nice colors and good perspective. I like this evening shot with shadows reflections on the river.I may have just wait to have the "City Cat" ferry a bit closer in front to take picture. Would have had impact to your pic i think.

Nice first post, the colours are really nice and its a good subject, I dare say a lot of people dont know what a city cat is and so fits in perfectly with the aim of the site. The one criticism I would make is of the amount of space at the bottom of the photo. In some shots the empty space can make a picture, but I think this would benefit from a bit of a crop. Ive done a workshop, hope you find it useful.
