This candid shot is amazing! I am so glad it came up in the thumbnails just now - I'd missed it before. The colors, composition, tight crop, and engaging expressions are wonderful. The blurred friend in the background, hand over mouth, really makes this shot for me. Wonderful!

The shot itself does not grab me, but your description makes it come to life. I like the point of view and it has a sense of desolation that comes across well. How terribly tragic, this story. :(

An over-sized head, let alone a wailing child, is frightening! Good capture! It certainly caught my eye.

Oh, the terrors of the garden. These crab spiders are amazing creatures, like chameleons in their ability to change their color to blend in with their backgrounds. They lie in wait, then pounce. I love this shot - great work! I have a crab spider shot posted here.

This is wonderful. The kid's frank stare, its quizzical expression, is wonderful. I like the angle from which you took it and the fill flash. Great picture!

This is so creative, and is a dramatic effect. It's really more for TrekLens.com than TrekEarth.com, though. Good work on the post processing!
