Very good composition and choice of light! I don't agree with one of the previous critiques that the horizon needed straightened. It's more forebodding this way, specifically as nature should be during a tempest, right? :) I miss the lighning in the sky, otherwise a perfect Giorgione revisitation on your part. Best, marina.

This is a great composition: you turned the camera upside down and perfectly framed the reflection of a house in the water. Nice choice! Very good light and I also like the chromatic gamut, with different shades of brown. It's also interesting that the birds look like a sort of watchdogs for this watery house. best, marina.

This is a very intriguing composition. It's good that the two persons are not placed on the same line: this way they create an interesting rhythm for the eye to follow. Very nice colours, in good rapports, without any harsh contrasts. Nice choice of light! I also like your point of view and framing. Very good sharpness and overall quality for a scanned photo. Best, Marina.

Good use of the contre-jour technique. You did a good job captureing the sun rays filtered through the clouds. And the light is not too powerful to obscure the other lines of the landscape. Good composition and point of view. Best, marina.

A perfect macro! And the subject matter is very well chosen. Good use of light, which, by the shadows it casts on the flower, confers it a good 3D quality. Very good composition, which shows the flower integrated in a larger environment. And I also love snow drops a lot :) best, marina

A very nice composition with a very good subject matter. You captured the little boy in an interesting attitude. It's always nice to make the daily routines into something interesting, and your pic really does that. best, marina.

The contrasts between the colours are just magnificent! Very well done. Good time of day for a colourful picture, with a mellow light. Very nice point of view: you used the benches wisely, in order to create the main lines of force and to filtrate the rays of sun, in their way to the pavement. very well done! best, marina.

I like your point of view a lot. I enjoyed the general desolate feeling this photo inspires. Very good contrast of colours and a good light, too. I thought it would look better if cropped a bit, because the right-hand side does not add anything to the general impression: there's just another tree, very alike the other trees. I think it looks more mysterious without that side. See the workshop. Thanks for sharing. Best, marina.

I like the composition very much: it's so well balanced! and the symmetry seems so un-artificial and unsought for... I think you used the water wisely: it reveals more than the upper part, but in an unassuming manner. best, marina.
