Get rid of that white line, Sayeed...only black around this superb catch of yours. Keep borders more simple...Imagine these photographs hanging on a wall... A fascinating series for which I compliment you. I wanted to say it. And no, not coming back...:-). *But you could come and join PH ? Kind regards Michèle

Hi Isabela, I can only agree with Cristian. I think I would have gone for a straight b/w but anyway this is great ! Wonderful detail of the hand in all that black. The OOF speaks worlds...Special and touchy subject, to be absurd and closed world. I am impressed. This was a hidden treasure on your hard disk...My compliments. Kindest regards Michèle

Seems the mods did not like my first minimalistic message :-). What a bore this place has become. Luckily there are still some good/great/fantastic photographs around. This is one of them. Far away from the kitch/schmalzig/so nice ones, I love the tight frame, the wild, concentrated face of the dancer, yes, the best I have seen around too. Period :-). I just wonder about those orangey bits on the top. I think that without it would be even better. Michèle

Hi Annelise, long time no see... this is excellent, you had an original idea to lie down in the grass and the way you composed it, has also something a bit surrealistic, and beautiful mix of strong colors and that dark sky. Comliments ! Take care Michèle

Great stuff Ben. Harsh photograph, death and life aside, superb perspective made by the lines of the road, lamps, electrical poles. What you call "crappy quality" is beautiful in my eyes, makes this even stronger, and timeless, in true photographic reportage style. The best I've seen around since a while. My compliments.! Michèle

Good photograph, I like the lady and the newspaper kiosque sharing the pavement to sell each their stuff, she looks very elegant in probably what's her best coat, trying to make a little money in addition to a small pension...touching. And tell me Pawel, you are asking for critiques and comments, and welcoming them. So, why is it that you have not given any critiques/comments to anyone since 28 March 2008 ? You have a great gallery and I am sure many here would be happy having some input from you. A bit on the selfish side, maybe ? (:. Best regards Michèle

Hi Deniz, this one is really great, combining a real leisurely moment with a sense of dream, light and shadows, your special touch for them, a little piece of nature and human presence. Lovely natural pose of the model...to nitpick, a tad too sharp in the foliage, but I have a very sensitive screen for that :). Compliments ! Take care Michèle
