Wow, is this the brink where the water goes over? I can't image how such force can be stopped by cold. Amazing! I was here in December just as the weather was starting to get cold (about 2 degrees) and wondered what it would be like here in mid winter. Then I went to Timmys... Thanks for showing me. So, as to the photo, good composition and focus on the foreground. Agree about the horizon. TFS Karen

Hello Michael, There is no limit to the moods this falls can exude. I am very happy to see this unusual combination of the snow and the spray that seems to hang as a fog. Another mood, exists in the detail, "Infinite Drop". Recently, a friend in Hawaii sent me an extraordinary series of photos of Niagara Falls in 1911 when it complete froze over.
