Not quite certain what the glowing subjects are, real trees or decorations, yet magical regardless. Congratulations on an intriguing image.

Hello Eli Having been myself to the Golden Pavillion I know it is a truly stunning place, so stunning infact that I feel that it alone is worth an entire new trip to revisit the place. I have to agree with Elena, the photo is a bit small. The temple grounds at Kinkakuji are really vast and contain so much beauty that you are hard pressed to fit it all in one photo. But I have some additional comments as well. Having been there myself I have seen how much of the impression of the Golden Pavillion is based around the reflection in the lage surrounding it, so why not add more of it to the photo? Also I find the photo to be a bit on the overexposed side. Odd Jarle
