I found your note rather intrigueing Wojtek. Looking at your picture and guessing about the light conditions, you easily could have shot this picture with a shutter time of 1/125s with f/19 or even f/22. Even witth this long DOF you were able to shoot it hand held (for some people everything shorter than 1/60s works just fine) so I do not really understand why you were working towards a 'tripod' shot... I also posted a workshop for you... Cheers! /E

Superb photograph, very very impressive work. Contrasting and interesting motive, just a few element (street architecture, bikes, windows, rickshaws and a great bonus namely that person next to the pole). Excellent capture, thumbs up Ricardo! Tried a ws, just a crop and a different border, see if you like it...

I have been looking at this picture for quite some time now, and I like it more and more. Film noir atmosphere with a flavour of low key photography. The mood you captured is stunning, the sense of solitude and desolation is so strong. Wonderful work Salvador, congrats!

Original capture, the man exactly centered in the middle of the parasol. Great angle and compo. Strenght in the composition is the man being surrounded by these returning colours. Very well seen and returned Maciej, great work!

Hej Pamela! I recall to have commented on one of your first zoo pictures, is this shot taken in that same zoo? A great idea to focus on a detail only, one is easily tempted to capture a 'whole' elephant. Very photogenic textures, good choice of DOF. Well done!

Unusual subject accompanied by a good and informative note. Thanks for sharing this! I love this composition, so clearly to divide it in different areas. The public in the background providing a reference for the viewer how and where to place this 'happening'... The bulls, very present, strangely tagged with these numbers... Excellent capture! Congrats!

Hej Kaj! How is the "läget"? I am a real sucker for these kinds of interior shots, and this one is no exception. Just love it. A great capture, precisely showing the essense of the Baroque style. Where I tend to exclude people in my composition whilst shooting interiors, you made the right choice to include them here. They add an element of humanity and mortality to this ethereal place. Excellent work!

Very original, and interesting subject Way. I like everything in it, colour toning, framing, composition, the strong contrast of silhouettes against the evening sky and beautifully mirrored by the water. Fantastic shot, congrats!

Very very impressive first post Caffeine. Excellent symmetry, broken by the two persons. Their 'posing' works so well, one laying the other upright, that really improves the composition. I recently have visited New York, and I find it rather interesting to see in your picture the same kind of details in the metro. A warm welcome to TE Caffeine (is that your real name? ;-) Looking forward seeing more of your work!
