Workshop Note

Further to my previous reply I have mad some simple adjstments CS2 using layers: First a basic increase in contrast using layer levels. The a saturation layer increasing/decreasing saturation and lightening/darkening in the individual colours as necessary. You can still reopen the levels layer for more adjustment or create another layer if further fine tuning is necessary. I wouldalso suggest that when this is completed you flatten the layers and create a duplicate layer. Then go to filters>other>high pass and enter the figure 0.3 in the radius box. In the layers palette, click "normal" and choose vivid light. Adjust the opacity as desired. This method of sharpening brightens up the pixel edges adding the appearance of more brightness and contrast but without actually darkening shadows or lightening highlights.
