2 days in Cairo, 4 days in Sharm, and 6 days in Jerusalem.

With the desire to see the most recognized sites on Earth, we ventured this time to Egypt to meet the Pyramids, and to Jerusalem to see the Old City and make it our home base to visit the Holy Land. We are enthusiasts about the Middle East, given the history in the region and the conflicts this part of the world has and continues to experience. This trip was not intended as a pilgrimage, as we are not very religious, so hopefully we can provide a neutral account of our experience. (2 photos)

In September my friend Rian and I travelled through Egypt. We started out in Caïro and took the night train to Aswan. We had a outing to Abu Simbel just before we took a Nile Cruise to Luxor. From Luxor we took a bus to Hurghada and then back to Caïro. Highlight was our time in Aswan. (1 photo)

It was two week trip to Egypt and during this one day visit in Israel.

For me that was very exotic travel, I've seen many new places quite different and the most expressive to me was touch of arabian culture.
One day visit in Israel (Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Dead Sea) had mainly religious character for me and was planned some time ago. The city of 3 big rels. and huge contrasts -- Jerusalem give me just amazing impression and head full of thinking. (8 photos)
