I do not understand why the quality of the photos posted in the TE, are different in "beta" and the new site. In my opinion in "beta" pictures are better quality. |

The differences are more visible in Mozilla Firefox! |

Very good observation Filipe! I have not paid much attention to the beta version lately, and you correct. The images on the beta site are roughly 10% larger, which is strange since I was under the impression that they would be posted pixel for pixel... We would need somebody with computer graphics expertise to clarify this serious problem. In any case, if the new version of the site automatically compresses the images by 10%, this will automatically result in loss of sharpness, and this effect is obvious. |

With the Windows Explorer 8 there is no difference, also no difference in the size. Different in that in the new version the small black framing is missing, so the impression is different. |

I can't see any difference either; I use IE8 and have switched back and forth several times with 2 tabs open and the quality is identical to my eyes. |

No problems with IE8, no difference between Beta and New. |

Like the others, I don't see any differences. Considering that the files are shared by both sites, that is, the file that arrives to the browser to b rendered is exactly the same, I wouldn't be able to understand how they could look different seen with the same browser. |

I use Opera, and see no difference at all. The image size is 800 x 535 pixels in both images, so there cannot be any difference in size. An optical illusion, perhaps! |
