| Intro: | WELCOME IN MY GALLERY! When taking pictures the most important thing for me is to have some kind of 'rapport', a connection to what I am photographing. I'm not the most technical of photographers. I'm a great believer in serendipity: the art of finding something you're not looking for. When travelling we like to go very slow to really take in the places we visit, always travelling with a minimum of luggage and a maximum of goodwill... we = yours truly + my lovely wife + our 5-year old daughter Our favourite travel destinations are mostly in the Far-East, with China taking a special place in our hearts. Our upcoming trip there will take in Anhui and Jiangxi. Currently I'm mostly posting some older scenes from Vietnam. These were shot between 1999 and 2001 when my wife and I lived in the Mekong Delta. But you might also find me posting an occasional shot or two from my hometown (Antwerp) or from various in-betweenies in neighbouring countries. Your critiques are a welcome source of inspiration, learning and motivation. I really appreciate them a lot.
