Photographer’s Note
A little castle for the prince (but not for you... all the castles in this country are strictly private dwellings) and a Liechtenstein Postage Stamp Museum that depicts, in miniature, the royal family and their art collection were my attractions for the day before an afternoon hike. This road continued up the hill, turned into a path, went past the country resvoir and then to Schaan.

Wonderful view and very good composition, a shame it's quite unsharp.

What I like about this one is the mist behind the castle, though the colors are very nice as well. A little sharpening probably wouldn't be harmful, but still this is a very nice capture!

Good picture. I post the same castle but in an other point view, you can take a look.
It's really a nice castle.

Very nice classical composition emphasazing very well the castle. The light and colors are also good and the road an excelent detail adding dinamic to the image.
Still there are some scanning problems which makes necessary some arrangements like correction of the fade and a bit more sharpness.

Dan,
Great pic! I was there in '04, on a misty June morning; we slept in the car on the stadium parking lot further "down the hill". It's a unique place this tiny country. Thanks for stirring up the memories...

Well composed with the castle in the top left and the road sweeping down and around the frame. I like the subtle colours and the hazy background. I tried to take a shot like this a couple of weeks ago but unfortunately the castle is undergoing restoration work and there was a big crane looming over it :-(
