Photographer’s Note

Monument Cristo Rei was built in 1959, on the southern bank of the river Tejo in Lisbon-Almada. It is 110 metres high. The statute of Jesus Christ was inspired by the brazilian statue of Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro.

A nice juxtapositioning of the yellow tinted arm, against the blue sky. Perhaps I'd add gaussian blur to the sky, to mask the slight noise, but otherwise it's a perfect shot, & tfs!

This is kinda like an optical illusion. It almost resembles the neck and beak of a bird! Nice original photo of something thats probably been photoraphed a million times before!
