Photographer's Note

A view looking back on El Morro. Being an island on the sea, it was always a target for attacks, thus it has two major defence fortifications. A place of residence for pirates or victims of piracy, the island has also become known for the swashbuckler's favorite drink, rum.

(scanned from color negative film by Kodak for PhotoCD - state of the art at the time, when digital cameras only had .3 megapixels)
