Photographer’s Note
A dragonfly, resting on a straw.
I've been experimenting with the macro function of my 75-300 (130 - 420).
One of the nice things about it is that I get to stand almost a meter away from the subject to make a photo like this.
This is not a big crop from the original framing, there was little more room arround the dragonfly.
The disadvantage is, of course, that not being a very fast lens, it takes a good days sun to be able to get enough speed not to get a shaken photo for most subjects.

Really great Macro Emanuel. Love that golden colour you got. It really stands out well against the background.

Details good and position good also though I would of tried sacrificing some of the speed for a little better F stop to try for a better DOF.

Muito bom este macro.
Sendo a Libélula 1, é de supor que venham outras!
Gosto também muito das cores e do desfoque do fundo.
Parabéns.
