Photographer’s Note
This is a strange shot I got when I was just bored and looking for some thing to shoot. I chose this POV with the ball partiall cut off to avoid some of the bright lights of the apartment block and to fill the frame with more of the sculture's strange angles. They sky is still a strange one to me. It makes wonder what kind of pollution was in the air that night...

Good shot here. The long exposure and interesting sky have created nice colors. The buildings and statue look great too. Good shot.

This is a very nice angle you took this shot from. It looks like a futuristic residential area.

whoa!!!!! you really nailed this one jason! the colors on this are just gorgeous! the curves of the sculpture are in beautiful contrast with the cubism of the instantly recognizable korean apartment buildings. the sharpness is amazing, the reflections in the sphere give a nice center to the frame. (just to nitpick: i'd crop abt. 1/4 inch from the right to get rid of the building fracture on the top)
another fine example on how we sometimes go to the edges of our planet searching for that perfect shot while it's right in front of us! congratulations, goes to my favs.

This looks so smooth, one would say it's ray-traced or something.
Very well observed and presented Jason ! TFS

Oh Jason, this photo is so amzing almost look like a 3d painting and not like a picture.
If you don't mind I did a little workshop to remove the photographer from the glass and his shadow, also the number on the building was patched.
I hope you will like it.

The way all those lines seem to erupt and sparkle everywhere is truly amazing. They look like some fireworks of shapes and colors, suddenly frozen. Thank you for presenting us through your eyes a spectacle which people who live there no longer see, since they look at it day after day...
I created a theme, Exploring shapes and colours and would like to include your picture in it, if that's ok with you, Jason. Usually, TrekEarthers don't ask permission for that kind of action, but I respect too much my own posts to "grab" someone else's picture into something one might not want to be associated with; adding a picture to a theme sure shows some appreciation, but it's also a form of appropriation... ;-)
More to come, I hope!

Brilliant shot, very surreal, it looks like a computer game graphic. Only thing I can fault with this image is that we can see you in the reflection!

What can be said that hasn't already been done!? This is probably my fav shot that I have seen from you! It looks so surreal! Very cool!

Now Jason, this is a totally surreal shot.
Yellowish colours work very well here and if it wasn't for your reflection in the ball I would have thought it was an illustration!
Great composition with all these curving 'pipes', very 3D.
Thanks for sharing,
Robi

The picture looks like a science fiction. Golden glow and sharpness are spectacular. I didnot like your image in the ball but it is not possible to take without it. Good one Jason

Jason,
A bizarre pattern, seeing the curves inside the globe!...
The colour of the sky accentuates the scene...
Well done.
Cheers,
Prem.
