Photographer’s Note
Even after living in Sydney for around 15 years it is still a delight to look out over the harbour when the skies are blue. Several ferries are alway going in and out of the circular quay wharves. Many people come to work on these ferries to avoid the gridlock traffic and horendous parking fees around this city.
The low building at the left, near the base of the bridge, is the Hyatt Hotel.
WS has an alternative view nearer the water.

Hello Murray,
The view of the harbor and the great bridge, in fact from different levels, is helpful in understanding the lay of the land. Are both sides equally developed, or is one side more residential and the other more commercial? You are 14 hours ahead of us (it is approximately quarter before 1:00 am here Thursday morning, and quarter before 5:00 pm in Sydney). The Trekearth group is located on the US West Coast, making the difference in time 17 hours. According to the data, you shot the photo on 3 December, and posted it on 2 December. I like this futuristic outlook.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hello Murray
Classic subject, taken from a not so classic angle and POV.
the clarity and sharpness is great, especially the boat in the foreground.
great DOF. The bridge takes up alot of space in the frame, symmetrically balanced.
Well done

Hi Murray,
Classic image indeed but one I never tire of. Sydney is my home town and I miss it sometimes, the wonderful harbour and the famous coathanger.
Great colour and great POV.

Bonjour, cher Murray,
Superbe prise de vue aux détails étonnants. Nous avons l'impression d'être sur place.
Très belle oeuvre d'art avec ce pont possédant un tablier sans pile !
Amitiés.

Hi Murray.
Fresh out of your camera!
It's a favourite photo subject, but you managed to capture it with a difference - the angle is good, and the timing of the shot is superb, catching the ferries to-ing and fro-ing. Great light which is well exposed, and excellent level of sharpness which allows Luna Park to be made out clearly in the background, nicely framed by the bridge.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Murray,
The bridge is one of the main attraction of Sydney. The presence of the ferries has an effect of scale. The point of view takes my eye through the bridge toward the highrise buildings which is giving depth to the composition. It is also allowing me to see thedetails of the structure of the bridge. The morning light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Classic but perfect!
Amazing color of the water again - unbeleivably blue one.
Great photo - quite a busy landscape as well.
Very good work!
