Photographer’s Note

This isn't technically Provo, but given that the city is about 5 miles away as the crow flies from this spot, it was my closest option.

This is Cascade Meadows just south of Provo Canyon, possibly the best place for fall colors in this part of Utah. I'd been here in the spring and seen pictures of the fall foliage, but I had to come for myself. Thankfully, it didn't disappoint. I got here right as the maples and oaks had reached their peak of red and orange. A couple weeks later and the red/orange had faded, but the aspens had started to turn a brilliant yellow.

This was taken at the end of my time in college. For some reason I passed on posting it previously. But the trees are turning orange and yellow and red (somewhat) here in Texas, and I thought it was appropriate.
