Photographer’s Note
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
En Delhi mientras visitaba la mezquita de Jama Masjid me encontré con esta imagen, me gusto el equilibrio en la pose de este hombre con su entorno, me dio la impresión que era como una pieza inseparable en el ambiente de ese lugar sagrado.
Gracias por la visita ...... un saludo.
Hi Francisco,
Beautiful composition with pretty nice note to describe the theme. Personally I feel a grey-scale image can be of much more strength to put the real feeling to the image. You have done it perfectly.
Thanks for sharing.
Partha.
Hi Francesco,
you have captured a nice portrait of this person. Selection of black and white mode is great. I like this mode than the colour version because it conveys the mood better. The action of newspaper reading in the very old Jama masjid is nicely emphasised through this pattern. Nice DOF and light. Really a great composition. Well done.
Congrats.
Have a nice evening.
Hola Francisco!!
Siendo buenas las dos...me gusta más la de B&N, por su fuerza y su equilibrio, en todos los sentidos...a veces parece que el color nos distrae del motivo...y en esta queda realmente bien el B&N, perfecta composición y muy buen detalle el fijarte en su circunstancia...
Saludos
Hola Francisco,
interesante postura... me gusta el "equilibrio" de la imagen, la pose del hombre encaja con el resto de la composicion, bien visto... a mi me gusta mas en blanco y negro....
Un abrazo
Hola amigo Paco,
Esta capacidad de concentración, para estar con el espíritu en otro lugar, debe ser parte de un aprendizaje, una filosofía oriental. Usted captado muy bien esta escena, hasta que la postura del cuerpo es diferente, hay un equilibrio entre cuerpo y mente. Me gusta más en blanco y negro, creo que da más armonía a la totalidad.
Abrazos y un buenisimo domingo
Hi, Francisco.
Great scene and composition, but I think that the tones are a little too grey, a little to plate...
Best regards. Grazyna.
Olá Francisco!
Gosto desta foto, da pose do homem a ler o jornal e do enquadramento. A porta fechada a cadeado é um óptimo detalhe. Boa ideia ter optado pelo b&w!
Hola, Francisco!
En verdad me gustaron las dos versiones, pero concuerdo con Manuel en cuanto a la distracción que pueden causar los colores en esta toma, debido a que el ambiente tiene colores más fuertes que el hombre, que es el asunto principal. Muy buen trabajo!
Olá, Francisco!
Um flagrante sensacional e duas versões bonitas e de boa qualidade. Gosto das duas, tendo pela P&B uma ligeira preferência. Parabéns, grande abraço!
Hello Fransisco,
bel instant décisif ! Le B & W est très adapté pour cette scène, c'est assez intemporel. Un cadrage aéré, et un bon sens de lecture. C'est parfait, bravo !
Holla Francisco,
nice B/W snapshot with the man to read his news paper sitting on the floor.I wonder how did you find this man, as he seems is in a terrace.In the colour version someone can see and the native colours.
Have a nice afternoon,Danos
Hola Francisco!
I really like this equilibrio, as you say, with the pose of the man, but I also see an equilibrio between past and modern. What surrounds this man talks about past, while the man is getting to know something about now through his newspaper.
A great shot!
Have a nice day
Hi Francisco --
Such a simple take yet a surreal one. Composition is the key here and the choice of the b/w. Congratulations for capturing a person's simplicity.
Thanks
Hello Francisco,
although I am not such a fan of B&W photos, in this case I prefer the B&W version tothe colour version: thus, you emphasize more the idea, the subject... without being distracted by the colours.
Very good, indeed!
Best regards,
Elena
Ola Francisco,
I like this very casual daily life scene, so natural, so relax the atmosphere, just the man enjoying his daily news, hopefully good news. Black and white is a perfect choice here, timeless and a great sense of nostalgia, like going back in time. Thanks you for your support through the years.
