Photographer’s Note
Standing on the beach at Cuckmere Haven looking East toward Beachy Head (& Eastbourne)to view the stuning "Seven Sisters" formation.
They are the remnants of dry valleys in the chalk South Downs, which are gradually being eroded by the sea (the English Channel).
The first head is "Haven Brow" and quite awesome to stand under. I tried to display the scale by featuring other visiters in the pic. (Info from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Sisters,_Sussex).
It was such a grey overcast day that the original was virtually B&W anyway so covertion was a natural step I think.
I converted from RAW & into B&W, reduced size and sharpened a little using Canon's Photo Pro. software.
