Photographer’s Note

This is a view of the Monte Rosa mountain range from a footpath that leads to the Mount Zerbion. The valley visible here is the Ayas valley; the path starts more or leas at half the way between the two major villages of the valley: Brusson and Champoluc. The Monte Rosa is really huge, with several peaks over the 4000mt of altitude (the highest is Punta Dufour 4634mt). Quite near beyond the left edge of the shot there is the famous Monte Cervino, that is considered as a part of the Monte Rosa massif.

This is a fine mountain landscape capped off by the snow capped mountain. The different layers of color throughout the shot is very attractive. The lighting and colors are fine and the photo has nice sharpness.

Il Cervino, con le Tre Cime di Lavaredo, le considero le montagne più belle d'Italia, ma sicuramente il fascino che dà la catena del Rosa è unico, paragonabile a quello del Bianco. La tua bellissima veduta ce lo dimostra bene, mettendo in evidenza tutta la maestosità di questo scenario. Veramente bella, bravissimo!

Hi Gabriele.
The landscape down there is really impressive. Sure, we have mountains in Norway too, but the Alps has a special formation. The altitude is very high on the summits. The strong green colours make a nice contrast to the summits. Here you have also included the typical village in the Alps. TFS.

Una molto bella vista di montagne con una incredibile profundità di campo. La composizione e anche molto ben equilibrata in differenti plani ben delimitati. Il color blanco della neve sorgo molto ben. Gradisco anche molto i variati detagli ben captati.
