Photographer’s Note
The Painted cliffs on the coast line of Maria are two popular walking destinations for day visitors, both on the island's coastline. The Painted Cliffs are sandstone with beautiful patterns formed through staining by iron oxide.

Hi Peter.
We're almost neighbours in the Gallery tonight!
Nice shot, with great colour combination of the dull blues and earthy colours of the striated rock formation. Good sharpness and pleasing composition. Just enough of the distant mountains across the water to create a sense of depth. Well done.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello Peter,
Brilliant natural colours indeed, contrasting very well with the dark sky. Excellent sharpness and composition to maximise the visual impact.

Hi Peter, this is a part of Aus we don;t often see on TE, the striations and layers of the cliff face are wonderful and brought out so well by the more muted sky. I like the cropping and the sharpness, great work, TFS, Lisa

I like the details in the cliffs and the color contrast between the earthy color and the grey of the sky.
Thanks for sharing
