‘Piran - Red pearl in a blue world’
My 111th post on TE.

When I posted my 100th photo on TE I wasn’t able to announce it (in the title).
It was in the period that TE started with the new website and for a while they didn’t show the titles of the pictures (too bad because I think titles are also important).
Since I’m not patient enough to wait till my 200th post (I post very irregular and too slowly) you find here my 111th picture on this site.
After all I find 111 a very beautiful number. :)
Next time I will do such thing it will be my 1.111th post … but we will all be very old by that time.

Again a photo of one of the most beautiful towns in Slovenia: Piran.

The title refers to the fact that Piran is often called the pearl of the Slovenian Mediterranean.
From this POV you could call the town a red pearl.
In the left corner at the bottom you see a small part of Tartini Square with the town hall.
See my previous post.
And on the hill at the right side you see the Church of St. George and its bell tower from where I took that other picture.

On this photo I added contrast. No saturation.
