Photographer’s Note
Mürren (1650 m) - a marvellous mountain village, public car free, rich in tradition and originally the home of settlers from the Lötschen Valley in the Valais.
Perched on a high, sunny terrace facing the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the village is the highest altitude ski resort in the Bernese Oberland. It nestles at the foot of the Schilthorn with its revolving Piz Gloria Restaurant, made world-famous by a James Bond film.
In summer, Mürren is the perfect place from which to start a host of hikes, from simple to strenuous.
You can reach Mürren from Lauterbrunnen by mountain railway (BLM) or from Stechelberg by aerial cableway (LSMS). Mürren has 450 inhabitants and a total of 2000 beds in 14 hotels and 250 holiday apartments.

Hi Asa,
Wonderful sharp lines and details to this lovely Swiss village sitting snugly against the rugged snow capped mountains and beautiful sky.
Nice depth created by this narrow street that move towards the distant mountains.

Hello Asa,
A composition with a nice summery feel to it. I like the perspective along the path with the people in the foreground dragging their suitcases after them, one wonders if they are just about to start their holidays or are on their way home. We shall never know! Good light and colours and excellent clarity.

Hi Asa,
The presence of the people has an effect of scale. The diagonal line of the street is ana sset to the composition. The trees are framing well the buildings. The point of view leads our eyes toward the mountains in the background which is giving depth to the composition. The colors are enhanced by the quality of the light. Have a nice day.

Hello Asa,
It look like a perfect little mountain town. Nice perspective with the trail leading the eyes. Good colours though a bit overexposed in the background. Cheers :-)

Hello Asa,
this is an interesting and picturesque view of the village :) I like such perspective photos the composition of which inclides so many interesting details and also shows a bit of the local daily life!
I'd also sharpen the photo a bit more, but it's just my suggestion :)
Very best wishes,
Elena
