what a wonderful day

how to get satisfaction

From Ngapali beach ,I drove 10 kilometers by bicycle to Thandwe,bought about 50 ball pens in crazy colors,each for about nearly no money.On the way back I visited a home for retired people,had some chai,little conservation and left a donation.
Back to Linn Thar Oo lodge,I did swim, had lunch, an icecold Myanmar beer and a nap...............
In the afternoon I drove to the village Ngaw(click above to see more images from there)School just finished and I was the king of the beach with 50 pens for less than 3 Euro.After taking a lot of photos,showing everybody the result,we sat down in the shadow of some palmtrees and I teached the kids and their teachers a few words of english and german.I learned a few Burmese words,but impossible to remember...........
I drove back to Ngapali and enjoyed the sunset at the beach.
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!
The color at their faces is no dirt,it`s thanaka,a sunprotection and cosmetics ,made of wood.

tolle Stimmung, die du hier eingefangen hast und die du in deiner Note beschrieben hast! Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, was für einen tollen Tag du hattest.
Diese Gesichter sind einfach wunderbar und wie schön ist es, dass sie sich über die Kulis so freuen können. Da müsstest du hier bei uns schon mehr bieten...

Hallo Andreas,

tja....es braucht ja nicht vieles, um die Kinder gluecklich zu machen.
Ein Kugelstift...ein paar Fotos anzuzeigen, ein Laecheln...und es ist Freude.

du warst ja Koenig...und das war eine tolle Erfahrung...
so was ist mir auch passiert...und ich verwende normalerweise eine solche Erfahrung als MEdikament....damit ich nicht zu viel meckere!

es scheint mir, dass auch die Kinder einen Teil von diesem herrlichen Tag sehr genossen haben. Schön, wie du das ganze beschrieben hast und klasse wie die Lebensfreude in den Gesichtern steht. Gutes Licht, tolle Farben und vor allem ein wunderschöner Tag. Man nimmt es euch einfach ab.

Hi Leo,

leider bin ich auf dem Gebiet der Portraitfotografie noch ziemlich unerfahren. Aber deine Bilder weckehn mein Interesse und zeigen mir, dass es auch durchaus sehr aussagekräftige Portraits gibt, die nicht gestellt sind. Deine Bilder geben einen Einblick in die Kultur der jeweiligen Länder. Weiter so.
