Photographer's Note

The Christ the Redeemer Cathedral of Boa Vista was projected by the Italian architect Mario Fiameni and built from 1968 to 1972. The structure has three meanings: a boat, a harp and a maloca. Seen from the outside, the cathedral reminds a great boat, the one of Pedro who sailed through the rivers in the Amazon.
