Photographer's Note

These are children in a small indigenous village located in the Isiboro Secure National Park. They are 3 days away of any small town with medical facilities or public transportation and 3 hours walk of the nearest basic school. They live mostly of fishing and hunting in the wild forest, with very few agricultural produces like yuca, corn and rice. They also have plenty of fruit like bananas, oranges, coconuts and papayas. They show a happy face despite all that.
