Photographer's Note

The Place
A night shot of the ultra famous Sydney Opera House seen from the Dawes Point in The Rocks area.

Background
Due to my involuntary extra stay of two more days in Sydney, I was able to take more photos of this beautiful city, and especially this spectacular landmark. This one was during an overcast night.

Technical
I took this one with my Canon 50mm f1.8. Please compare with two photos taken during the sunrise the day before, taken with the Sigma 18-200 DC OS, one @18mm in WS1 and another @51mm in WS2.
Even the WS2 photo was taken with tripod and remote shutter to avoid vibrations I could not get a very sharp image (compared with the 50mm). I think the weight of the lens, the wind, and the glass quality made the difference….. or is the photographer?. What do you think?

- as taken in RAW, no PP at all
