Photographer's Note

A male Australian Eastern Water Dragon with a red chest. The less colorful female is in the bg. It's very unusual to see these so tame. I often spotted them along the local creek when I went looking for tadpoles, frogs, turtles and small fish in the 1970's, but they would disappear like lightning. Here they have become used to people with constant busloads of tourists arriving regularly at Kangaroo Point high above the Brisbane river for views of Brisbane city.
