Photographer's Note

A fabulous warm day on the water and then we pulled into this very snug little harbour. The California birhgt colours made me smile then and still make me smile when I look back at it now -- especially now when winter is blasting at my windows with freezing rain and sleet.
I enjoyed MY visit; I hope you enjoy yours.

Hi Silke,

A good POV of the boats, of the houses and their reflection in the water, its giving a special effect to the photo. It has a good composition, perspective and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Silke,

Your frame has more then two beautiful elements. Water, wonderful sky and you also include terra cotta colored roofs and white boats. Wonderful weather and good lights are creating beautiful reflection on canal. This is very nice, clear, sharp photo. Congratulations.

A true contrast to the weather you are experiencing now.Looks like you had a lovely day for traversing the water.As a young boy I also used go out on a boat with my family and explore the waterways not far from our house.Thanks for the memories.

Nice quality, colour and exposure in this shot with a good perspective. The reflections are nice and colourful and pleasant to see. I like the clear bright scene and summery surroundings. Nice view point to emphasize the depth and angle of the boats, too.
