For John: 1st Tulips on Campus, a photo from Pennsylvania, Northeast

This Spring weather has been like a yoyo so far. We are back to 70° (F = 20° C) weather after sub-freezing temperatures. After my classes today, I went around the campus taking photos of the first flowers that bloomed. These are the first tulips of the season. Considering their buds withstood freezing temperatures, they are in pretty good shape.

This photo and its workshops companions are dedicated to John Maenhout (jhm), who has provided us with beautiful photos of tulip fields from the Netherlands.

Nice sign of the spring, Murat.
Well allocated this pic. space. The ground of the campus is in fine depth and with excellent details shown.
Here, spring is in full swing, 25C daily.

Hello Murat,

So I see your working place. Charming view of these first flowers - early tulips and daffodils. You have them rather late this year. In my garden the magnolia is in full bloom. Lovely area of the campus.

Two lovely pictures but the head picture is the most beautiful.
Great architecture picture too.
Light and colours are very well.

I like also the way you described the spring of this year like a yoyo so far. Just the some here in the Netherlands. Today it seems an autumn day. Next week the forecast some improvement.

your tulipscape is discreet and charming, it looks small and wild compared to the fields of the Netherlands. The tulips are so lovely, though, and seem to appreciate the sunsjone immensely.
