Photographer's Note

--Post Process Info--

This is the lightly processed version of a heavily processed TL pic I posted. I'm not sure which one I like better; this one has more of a triumphant view, and it's certainly nice and sharp, but I do like the pastoral, relaxed view of the TL edit. What do you think?

--Shot Info--

This was shot with my trusty Ricoh 35mm SLR back in the day. We stayed at the tower overnight and I woke up for sunrise and got this. This is the morning after the sunset pic I posted earlier. My only regret is not bringing a polarizer, it could've improved the sky significantly.

--Devil's Tower Info--

Devil's Tower is a very cool volcanic outcropping, jutting out from the northeastern Wyoming plains. It's very prominent, and I'd estimate it at a topographical prominence of 1000 feet or so. Really amazing when you consider that there isn't another mesa like it for hundreds of miles at least.
