Photographer's Note

Near the end of October, it was still balmy until it suddenly snowed and turned cold over night. Then it was foggy for a few days, so I decided to go out and see what there was to see. I found many things, among them these reeds growing in a nearby marsh.

I've been studying photographs that use a lot of negative space enthusiastically. I thought this might be a useful thing to learn, so here is an early attempt. I did no color shifting, though I did brighten the photo considerably.
