Photographer's Note

Exit glacier is outside of Seward on the Kenai Peninsula south of Anchorage. Up behind the glacier is a massive ice sheet and early explorers of the ice sheet used this glacier to exit the ice sheet, hence the name.
It is not many years since where I took this photo would have been under the glacier. Markers along the entry road and access track indicate where the glacier reached in the past. An example from closer to the glacier is in the workshop.
