Photographer's Note

It struck me when we visited New York in 1993, that when you sail across to get a close look at the Statue of Liberty - this is what you get. A look up her skirts. No offense to Americans intended, but I felt that special angle of the symbol of freedom needed to be captured.
Photo scanned at 600 dpi, sharpened and auto-level touched up with Photoshop - and although I often transfer other people's work from color to b&w I decided to leave this in color. But it might also work in b&w.
