Photographer's Note

This unusual church like civic building in Syracuse was built by a local architect from 1889 to 1893 in Romanesque Revival architectural style. Some time ago the bell tower contained a bell which was used for fire alarm. Built with beautifully carved, locally mined, Onondaga limestone. For a better view of the stone work I attached a closeup view of the tower to the picture of the building.
