Hoosick River

The Hoosic River is located in upstate New York in the United States. The river was also called the "Hoosac," "Hosick," and "Hoosack."

The river flows along the border of Rensselaer and Washington Counties. The Hoosic is a tributary of the Hudson River, joining the Hudson at the west border of the Town of Schaghticoke in Rensselaer County.

The Hoosic arises in Western Massachusetts and is joined by the Little Hoosic River in the north part of the Town of Petersburgh in Rensselaer County, New York. There are many tributaries that add to the hoosick River some include the Green River in Williamstown, Ma. There are also otheres like the North Hoosac, and the Hudson Brook. Along with many others of course.
