Photographer's Note

Jobaria is Africa's dinosaur giant.

This particular skeleton is on exhibit at the Garfield Conservatory in Chicago and is the most complete plant-eater from Africa. It is estimated to be about 145 million years old, stands at 33 feet in height and 70 feet in length. It was excavated from Niger by a team lead by Dr. Paul Serono.

The exhibition, GIANTS: African Dinosaurs at the Garfield Park Conservatory, is created by Project Exploration. This major new exhibition premiers the first-ever display of new African dinosaurs, renders skeletons as garden sculptures and immerses visitors in a prehistoric world full of wonder and mystique.

Tech: cropping, resizing and unmask sharpening.
