Photographer's Note

First of all, I know this is a very very slim shot.
Not the best of presentations, but I did this for two reasons.

One reason was to reduce the skyline. The weather was not attractive, the sky was bright bright white.

The other reason is to simply focus your attention on the bridge and its elements. Trust me, I could have zoomed OUT to allow for more of the bg buildings to show in the frame, but if I did that I would also lose out on the visual effect of the bridge itself - defeating the entire purpose. The more I zoomed out, more and more unwanted subjects kept presenting inside the frame.

Also keep in mind, look where i'm standing!!!!! Its not like I had alot of options haha

Chicago has so many beautiful bridges, I wanted to focus on this one with its large rounded arches acting like wings. They flare up pretty high!

Although I wish the photo could be taller and larger, I still hope you like this interesting piece of Chicago architecture.
