Photographer's Note

As I continue with more local scenes from Vancouver, I wanted to show you a place I've NEVER posted before.

So in a way its kind of new for you and for me as well.

This is Lighthouse Park, a great place to watch sunsets, have picnics, a romantic quite area where you'll often see couples enjoying an evening together.

I guess I've never posted from here before because its not the easiest of locations to get to, and secondly because basically EVERY photo of it has been taken. Living here, we see this Lighthouse Park scene over and over...However, if you've never seen it before, I suppose even the most often Point of View like this one is fine enough.

In case you were wondering, the downtown core of Vancouver is across the water directly behind the lighthouse in the direction i'm pointing at, not to the side.

I would have liked to show you a closer up view of the actual Lighthouse, but its not accessible to the public. I've tried believe me, but you really can't get near it.

There's a WS photo as well, and perhaps I should have used that one as the main post - what do you think? It has a few people in it which is nice, but I liked this composition better. In a perfect world, I'd like to have the people in THIS compo, but what can you do?

Hope you enjoy both shots
