The big wheel is drawing much attention when looking at this beautiful neighbourhood.
Yet, when looking at details, there is good view of the houses down the canal, alongside the stream which added dynamism to the image.

This is a very well considered view. The waterwheel grabs f/g attention and very nicely directs attention, via the stream, into the distance, where there are further focal points of bicycles, bridges and buildings.

interesting composition which gains a lot from the big wooden wheel of the watermill which created really strong point of focus in the foreground. Well achieved DOF and nicely saturated yet natural colors. Well balanced sharpness and contrast.

I am a big fan of these half-timbered buildings. This is a great place and it even has a Biergarten (my favorite). The canal gives the photo a nice sense of direction while the water wheel and bridges provide excellent points of interest. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and detail.

I like where, and how you've placed your watermark onto this image...I keep expecting it to roll forward with the turn of the wheel. :) A very pleasant scene, well composed to exude the quaint appeal of this corner of town. I particularly enjoy the warm, slightly golden reflection on the water and small portion of the bridge to highlight the bicycles. The fg water wheel makes a superb focal point. Good sharpness and a nice subtle reflection in the stream, which also adds good lead in lines and diminishing linear perspective. Excellent shadow detail and sharpness. Tfs!
