Photographer's Note

I'm just stopping my posts of Thailand for a while to post some photos of the project "Vivercor", that can be seen in the village of São Cristóvão. This project consisted on painting some private houses (facades, chimneys....)with motives or expressions representing personal objects or memories of the inhabitants. Of course, a dialogue had to be previously established between them and the artists. Today, walking along the streets of this village, we can find many houses decorated in original ways, each one of them telling us something about who lives inside(
Here we can see a window decorated with a sentence taken from José Saramago's book "Raised from the Ground". It means "Landscape is what this land has the most"
