Photographer's Note

This is the Rainbow Bridge on Tokyo's waterfront. It is a single span suspension bridge, 918m in length. It's on 2 levels; 1 carrying the monorail and the other carrying the expressway.

The orange tower just to the right of the bridge is Tokyo Tower.

The water here is actually part of the Pacific Ocean, and I sometimes find it very difficult to remember that Tokyo is actually on the coast. It's such a massive city that when I walk around in Ginza, it's hard to believe that I'm only 2Km from the ocean.

This picture was taken from the car park on top of Aqua City, and yes, it was cold. VERY cold.
