Photographer's Note

Here's my first photo of Fatehpur Sikri! This photo was taken at the entrance of Jami Masjid, on a very hot day. Everyone was trying to find some shade, even the goats.
Jami Masjid is a big and magnificent mosque, that has been used as a model to many Mughal mosques. It dates from the 16th century and it was probably the first building to be build in the amazing imperial complex of Fatehpur Sikri, built by the Emperor Akbar.
