second shot in my mini series


There's a global tradition of blind musicians from the old bluesmen of the early 20th century in the south of the US to the wandering guitar players in the Mekong delta of Vietnam. Blind people don't pick cotton! Here's a portrait of a blind guitar player in Mexico.

OAXACA is the capital and largest city of the Mexican state of the same name. The city relies heavily on tourism, both Mexican and international. Oaxaca's main drawing card are its large number of colonial-era structures as well as the native Zapotec and Mixtec cultures and archeological sites.
