Shot or Block?

And now for something completely different, some sports in downtown Calgary. The city is mostly associated with winter sports, it was host of the 1988 Winter Olympics, but in the sunny summer weekend we spent in the city people obviously preferred different types of sports.

This is a view of The Bounce Outdoor Basketball Courts on the corner of 8th Avenue and 4th Street, which apart from basketball hoops, also features a table tennis table. It was brand new, it had opened only a month earlier. I tried to get an action photo of the basketball game in progress, which was not easy to get, but I wasn’t dissatisfied with this one. The building in the background is Studio Bell, which my father has shown before.

What do you think? Did they manage to block the shot or was it a goal?
