Photographer's Note

There is not a chance, yet, of hearing any 'lake waters lapping with low sounds by the shore'. This body of water is still frozen over, as we noted at a brief stop along the Icefields Parkway. But it was time to continue our trip north to Jasper, probably 180 kilometres distant, have dinner, and settle down for the night. Yes, this is Mount Chephren to the right, rising up above Lake Chephren and beyond the forest in Banff National Park.
